Tooth Extractions
Gentle removal of a tooth that is too damaged, infected or crowded to save, with clear guidance on replacing it.
We always try to save natural teeth, but sometimes removing a tooth is the healthiest choice. When an extraction is needed, we numb the area thoroughly, work gently and walk you through every option for filling the space afterward.
IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?
Patients with a tooth that is badly broken or decayed, a severe infection, advanced gum disease, crowding before orthodontic treatment, or a tooth that cannot be repaired.

What to Expect
After numbing the area, your dentist loosens and removes the tooth. Simple extractions often take only a few minutes. You go home with gauze, aftercare instructions and a plan for replacing the tooth if needed.
Common Questions
Quick answers to questions we hear often. See all FAQs
Will it hurt?
You should feel pressure but not sharp pain during the procedure. Mild soreness afterward is usually managed with over-the-counter pain relievers.
How long does healing take?
Most patients feel much better within a few days. Full healing of the gum and bone takes a few weeks.
Do I need to replace the tooth?
Often, yes. A gap can let nearby teeth shift. We can talk through implants, bridges and dentures.
