Gum Graft
Covers exposed roots and strengthens receding gums to reduce sensitivity and protect your teeth.
When gums recede, tooth roots become exposed, which can cause sensitivity and make teeth look longer. A gum graft adds tissue to cover the roots and rebuild a healthy gum line. Grafting is performed by Dr. Ramy Habib, our board-certified periodontist.
IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?
You may benefit from a gum graft if you have gum recession, sensitivity at the gum line, or thin gums that are at risk of further recession.

What to Expect
Dr. Habib examines your gums and explains the type of graft that fits your case. The area is numbed during treatment, and nitrous oxide is available. Healing usually takes a few weeks.
