Is gum disease reversible?
Early gum disease (gingivitis) can often be reversed with professional cleanings and good home care. More advanced gum disease can be controlled with treatment.
Does gum treatment hurt?
We numb the area and take steps to keep you comfortable. Most patients return to normal activities the next day.
How often will I need cleanings?
After treatment, many patients come in every three to four months for periodontal maintenance.
