Dental X-Rays
Digital images that reveal decay, bone loss and hidden problems your dentist cannot see during a visual exam.
Many dental problems begin between teeth, under old fillings or below the gumline, where they are invisible to the eye. Digital X-rays let us find these issues early, plan treatment accurately and track changes from one visit to the next.
IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?
New patients, patients with symptoms such as pain or swelling, and anyone due for routine images. How often you need X-rays depends on your age, history and risk of cavities.

What to Expect
Taking X-rays takes just a few minutes. You bite gently on a small sensor while the image is captured, and the results appear on screen right away so we can review them with you.
Common Questions
Quick answers to questions we hear often. See all FAQs
Are dental X-rays safe?
Yes. Digital X-rays use a very low dose of radiation, and we only take images when they are needed for your care.
How often do I need X-rays?
It varies. Some patients need bitewing X-rays once a year, while others need them less often. We base the schedule on your needs.
Can I see my X-rays?
Absolutely. We show you your images on screen and explain what we see.
