OralID uses a special fluorescence light to help us see changes in the tissues of your mouth that may not be visible under normal light. It's a quick, painless addition to your exam that helps with early detection of oral cancer and other abnormalities.

Screening is valuable for all adults, especially smokers, people who drink alcohol, and anyone with a history of HPV or sun exposure to the lips.
What to Expect
During your exam, we dim the lights and shine the OralID light around your mouth for about two minutes. If anything looks unusual, we'll explain the next steps.
